- Wander the Gardens with Our Farmer
Sunday, Sept. 14
Join farmer Ben Saunders for a tour of the new growing fields and a discussion of
how the fields were constructed and cultivated, what is grown at Ambler, and how
the fields are now maintained using organic methods. Refreshments provided.
Free admission.
- Ambler Honey Harvest
Saturday, Sept. 27 - 12:30-1:45pm
Come join us to harvest honey directly from our beehives at the farm. The whole family will learn about our honey bees, watch us collect and extract the honey, and do some tasting of course! $5 per person (children 5 and under free), maximum $20 per family.
- Ambler Farm Day
Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 - 12-4
Join us for games, crafts, hay rides, live music, farm animals, pumpkin picking, homemade pies, and the famous apple sling shot. Enjoy a farm-style lunch in the shade of our 200-year old sugar maple trees. At Ambler Farm Day, there's fun for everyone! This event has become a Fairfield County tradition.
- Bee Keeping Workshop

Beekeeping is a simple exciting hobby offering many rewards – including honey!
Come learn about the fascinating world of beekeeping and how you can keep bees
in your own yard. Lead by Kevin Meehan, aided by some local beekeepers. $20 members, $25 non-members.
- Fright Night at the Farm
Friday, Oct. 24 - 6-8pm
Bring a friend and enjoy haunted Halloween activities and frightful (and not so
frightful) storytelling. Creepy sights and sounds abound when the moon rises
above Ambler Farm! For grades 3 thru 5. Refreshments included.
$20 members, $25 non-members.
- Fall Harvest Supper
Saturday, Oct. 25
Spend a glorious fall evening enjoying a menu that will feature seasonal produce
grown in the Ambler fields and prepared by a local chef. Enrollment is limited.
$50 members, $65 non-members. Please check website for date and time.
- Halloween Fun at the Farm
Sunday, Oct. 26 - 1-3pm
Halloween hayrides, pumpkin painting, and other fun crafts and activities for
children of all ages. Come in your costume and explore the farm!
$10 per child for members, $15 per child non-members; adults free.
- Art of the Wreath party

Enjoy an evening of Wine, Hors D'oeuvres and good conversation while viewing some of the most creative wreaths available for bidding.
- Holiday Greens Sale

Select trees, wreaths and roping while enjoying a visit with Santa, holiday crafts, a warm fire and hot cocoa.
- Santa's Sleigh Ride

Co-sponsored with the Town of Wilton Parks & Recreation Department. Enjoy a horse-drawn ride around the Farm, complete with bonfire, cookies, hot cocoa, and of course, Santa!
- Valentine Tea (online ticket orders)

Enjoy a traditional tea with tea sandwiches, dainty scones + sweet treats.
Decorate candy boxes for your sweetest + dearest.
Seating is limited. $25 per adult to include the first child; additional children $5 each.
Members are entitled to a discount. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
