Swedish Weaving at Wilton Library
Sunday, February 8

Note:
at Wilton Library
Sally Gemmill will lead the group in embroidering a hand towel in this easy-to-learn style that utilizes huck toweling, a soft fabric that features pairs of raised threads that are easily counted to form a geometric pattern. In Swedish weaving, as it is called, the embroidery needle slides across the fabric, under the raised threads, to form the design. Gather a friend or family member, or come and meet new friends, but please join us for stitching, tea, and cookies.
Ages: Adults + Older Teens
Fee: Free
Registration: closed
