Organic Food + Wine
Friday, April 5th from 7 – 10pm
Share an evening with friends and neighbors as we enjoy delectable, organic treats catered by Barcelona, including passed and stationary tapas, hand-cut pasta, red + white wine, sangria, imported beers and non-alcoholic beverages. Eat, drink, mingle and bid on unique auction items (details to follow).
What started as a small wine and cheese gathering has blossomed into a favorite spring farm event!
Cost is $75 per person for members, $80 per person for non-members.
Advance registration required – registration is open to members only through March 14th. Registration opens to non-members March 15th. Enrollment is limited and there is no waiting list.
Ambler Farm Reads (a Wilton Library program at Ambler Farm):
Wednesday, April 10th, 2:15-3:00pm
Children ages 4-6 and their caregivers will meet at the Farm to enjoy theme-based stories, a nature walk and visit with the animals. Be sure to bring your library card as children may check out books at the Farm. April’s program will focus on sheep.

Pancake Breakfast + Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 23rd from 11am – 12:30pm.
Come celebrate Spring at the Farm! Drop in for pancakes with Ambler Farm maple syrup anytime between 11 am and 12:30 pm. Stay for a visit with our sheep, goats, and chickens. Finally, make sure to bring your own basket for our annual Egg Hunt beginning at 12:30.

Sheep Shearing
Saturday, March 23rd from 1-2pm
It’s time for Nutmeg and Clover’s spring shearing! Come see our sheep shearing demonstration and learn how wool is carded and spun into yarn. The Wilton Historical Society will demonstrate the fascinating old fashioned steps with opportunities for families to participate. Many thanks to the Wilton Historical Society for joining us!

Discover Ukrainian Easter Egg Decorating
Sunday, March 24th from 2-4pm.
Learn the Ukrainian egg decorating tradition of Pysanky and try this ancient craft yourself. Made using a wax batik method, Pysanky incorporates different symbols and shapes, and are brightly and intricately colored. Decorate eggs with traditional designs or create something all your own. Ages 9 and up. Taught by Susan Clark.
Cost is $15 per person. Additional decorating kits will be available for purchase should you want to try your hand at home.
Registration for members begins 2/15/13. Non-member registration begins 3/1/13, space permitting.
Enrollment limited to 20 people.
