Program Manager, Kevin Meehan
Kevin Meehan is a master science teacher with a love of nature. His wonder for the interconnectedness of our world is surpassed only by the joy he gets from working on the farm with children and adults alike. Kevin develops programs to meet state frameworks and instill an understanding and respect for nature in all.
“Mr. Meehan” has created signature programs for children and families that span the seasons, including the Apprentice Program, Maple Syrup Tap-a-Tree for families, Adventures at the Farm (summer program) and Fright Night for grades 3 through 5. He also built and maintains the Educational Garden with the assistance of the Ambler apprentices. Kevin and his wife, Miss Sue, live in the Yellow House at the Farm and take care of the sheep, goats, rabbits and chickens in addition to their own children, Logan and Kate.
